What is the diffrence between the 70 engine and the 71-73 Buick 455's? other than Compression Ratio and Coolant and Oil Passages?
70 and 71 are close but beginning in 72 you have the air pump injection so air passages etc are in the heads , intake etc. For this reason you have different brackets etc.
So if i took my 72 455 and put aftermarket heads OR 70 heads on it and an aftermarket intake OR a 70 Intake, other than the CR they could be the same? Because the 70 455 SF code has 510 TOR. and the 72 455 WF has 370 TOR.?
