  3. The "Group Buy" for the 1967-68 Deluxe Steering wheel recasting is now officially "Open". Now is the time to start sending in the wheels. The latest date that the wheels must be received by Kochs is 31 March 2025 The cost for each wheel is $750. The only "up front cost" is your shipping the wheel. If you send in more than one wheel, each additional wheel will cost $700. Shipping and insurance to Kochs and return shipping will be extra. You will be contacted by Teresa to make payment for the wheel(s) and return shipping and insurance when your wheel(s) is complete.     Maybe the camera angle, does these on have the droop over the gauge cluster? if possible post a picture of the long ways showing how straight the part of the dash over the gauges,

    Al, I think that is pretty common. It's a relatively unsupported portion of the dash pad.

    Larry, thanks for you follow up. Being around these car for the last 40 years I know the weakness here and seen in some cases where the dash pad did not have as much exposure to the sun and extreme heat. Trying to find a straight dash with out that factor and cracks and dents and on top of all that the color may be a unrealistic endeavor.

    I bet you could straighten that out by simply leaving it out in the sun with some weight plates on it.

    That’s the rarest dash with one vent. For a non AC car with two knob kick panels. That is a 70 dash with the round peg on far left side. 71-72 had a blade. It works for all years but left side needs the clip retainer in the metal dash. 71-72 didn’t have the far left retainer. Any dash that ever had armor all on it will be a nightmare to paint.
