This motor ran up to a month ago when I pulled the wiring. Currently still in the car. I drove it. The motor was quiet. The trans went into gear and drove around my yard, but I never took it on the road. The carb is incorrect since the aircleaner doesn't fit it. The car only has 76k miles.

$50 for everything. Come and get it. Again, hate to junk it. Located 45 minutes south of Pittsburgh.

    Tim,
Do you have any history on the engine? Is it all original or been rebuilt? Does it smoke, use oil? What is the engine code on it?

sorry, i don't know the history. looks untouched with the exception of exhaust manifold gaskets and the carb. it smelled a little like it was burning oil at start up, but only for a few seconds. i know for a fact the car has 76k miles and i have no reason to believe its not the original motor. i can get the codes if you give me a couple of days. where would i look? been a long time since i fooled around with a 350.

The engine serial number is stamped on the front of the left cylinder bank. The production code number is between the left exhaust manifold and the two front spark plugs.

I'm gonna keep the trans as a back up. Motor still available, and now its free. Carl, I can't read the code between the spark plugs, and can't find the one on the front of the block. Here are pics.

    Tim,

I would like to get it, but not a good time right now. If you still have it in the spring, I wouldn't mind getting it.
