Hi, Gang. Has anyone found a good, "tubular" 6v. inline electric fuel pump that's available today? I'm referring to the more modern, small type of pump that almost looks like an inline gas filter. It does not hang down like many electric fuel pumps. Rather, you have the inlet, the round pump body and the outlet all in a straight line. This style of pump seems much less obvious than the vertical or "hang down" style. Thanks, John in Wisconsin

    John--
I have one such pump on my '40 Ford COE. It's a Bendix. NAPA had a replacement filter for it right on the shelf (I have a really good NAPA store near me)... I think the pumps themselves are readily available if you know where to look. NAPA itself might be a good start, or parts places that deal in older tractor parts (which my '40 has been called by some (jealous!)). Good luck!
