I wish they still made cars in colors like this. The one comment I get the most about my sherwood green Olds is how pretty the color is and how it really stands out. Cars from this era had so much personality.

Looks very nice, as always, you do great work.

Tom, you should have kept this Beauty....I loved it. Who owns it today?

If there is one I regret selling, this is it.
It left the country, and will never be seen again. Unless I win a lotto, and can be a person with more money than brains, there is no chance of me being able to afford to buy it back.
I sold it to a board member in New Zealand, and it has since changed hands a half dozen times in that country, last seen at a specialty car dealer for like $98k U.S. Dollars

Today I took the GS400 to run some errands at lunch time. Had to go to O'Really's (as Briz calls it), and get some exhaust turn downs for the new truck project. After that I swung by 7-Eleven and got my girl and the owner of the salon some Big Gulps. Hung out at the salon for a couple hours.

When I got home, I had to fix the Retrosound radio. The left knob had come unplugged and no volume... Simple fix, though.

This part of the process is way more fun than body work.

We finally have outer window sweeps with the correct little turned down 90 at the backs of the door pieces. So I was able to install all the glass this past week.

I also ripped out the instrument cluster, radio bezel, and column cover to have it restored. A bit of a step backwards, but we are working a bit harder to make this car as nice as possible.

Tell the owner when he is ready to trade it for the dippy blue, he can! ;)... as we all know he will need another project...

Is the green roof going back on? If so, are you looking for unobtainium green material or dying another color?

Owner has the top material already. I hope to have it sometime in the next couple months. Part of the reason I haven’t hammered all the stainless on. Except the fact that auto city is out of hardtop front glass.

Agreed looking forward to pulling and installing parts I bought 5,10,or even 15 years ago.
