Does any one know what all exterior trim mouldings such as trunk, door etc.. would come on a 69GS stage1 4-speed car. The body tag shows TR188 ,59 B, and 11B. Pics would help also if anybodys got some good close up's. Thanks
Bryan- look at the 68-69 members rides section. Trunk molding is the same on ALL GS models. The only optional molding is the belt reveal molding that goes on the top of the doors and below thebase of the rear side windows. That's it. TR 188 = black bucket interior 59 B=lime green body w/ black vynil top 11B= second week of november, 1968= build date
Thanks George,I figured you would know. ---------- Post added at 11:54 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:52 AM ---------- Hey George, was there any trim on the back of the hood and on the edges of the fender where the hood aligns with ?

All the hoods and fenders had the stainless trim on the back edge of the hood and the fender if I am not mistaken. I am sure some one else will confirm this for you.

HELP? thanks bob
Other pubs that have exterior moulding/trim diagrams and options are the sales mens facts book 70 1nd 71 are in the libraries - if have other scans would be a great addition to the libraies these little books are just just chocked full of info.

1970 Buick Facts Pocket Binder Salesmen's Guide - GM Corp - sent

1971 Buick Salesmens Feature Guide - GM Corp

1971 Buick Facts Pocket Binder - Salesmen's Guide - GM Corp and the body manuals and part books illustrations also have moudling diagrams (chassis manual for front ends)
Behind the door, there is 1 piece that goes to the wheel well trim. It does not go into it, then behind the wheel well trim there is another (1) piece Rear wheel well trim is different for cars with the side body molding - the wheel molding ends at the side molding as opposed to non-side trim cars which have full moldings. all of the trim fits to the car on plastic clips, which slide over "pins" which should be on your body. most also have screws at the beginning and/or end to secure the edges that come on from the back side. I will post a scan from factory docs later tonight. I also have a large assortment of trim that I can help you with :beers2:
as promised ... ... what I find interesting is there is no reference to the trunk trim molding and its installation options
sorry this is not my thread, but i need the same info.. and i am looking for the three pices of trim on the trunk if anyone has a nice set..thanks
