'69 GS 400 Vert - Barrett Jackson Palm Beach

I also noticed the announcers were pretty quiet, I was actually starting to doze off on the couch and I missed the first part of the '69 GS auction ou: since nothing was being said. Then I thought I was dreaming when it went for 125K :eek2: It was nice to see a stepchild Buick get some respect with the bidding:TU: Is that the highest price for a GS?

Highest price that I know of so far, I know of one other 69 Stick Vert. that is that nice and we will see what it goes for. (not mine) p

 

No it was not in the registry it was only a GS 400 not Stage1.. Though it was a Flint built car..Randy

yes Alan, he got it from the guy in PA and then sold it to a board member who has the car now.


Randy What color RED was the vert ?

 

I beleive it was Signal Red.. Will double check.. Randy

I figured, If it wasnt real stg1 car i would back out of the deal.

won the auction, looked at the car, found the vin's & RS code, etc etc. took car home. Called Duane, stopped by to see the car.

BUT then, my business partner at the time, needed cash fast so the car was sold to a board member.
I really hated to sell the car, long sad delivery road trip too.
