'69 Grand Prix's have boxed frames and even the TH400 transmission crossmembers are boxed units that will fit A-body convertibles or hardtops with hd boxed frames.

This GP has been extesively stripped out already. George ?? Gone are the disc brakes, rear end, steering column, gages, bucket seats, all engine brackets, radiator, carburetor, driveshaft, disc brake proportioning valve, seat belts and I got the #62 heads off of the 400 today. Actually, the 400 looks in great shape and very clean inside. Probably nothing wrong with it. The left lower control arm mount was broken off and the car more than likely parked because of it. The frame is bad at this location. I've seen quite a few '69 GM midsized cars with broken and cracked frames.

Yes, that car was sitting for a long long time...has mold growing on it.

It was put in the yard on Wed and when I got there Thur morn at opening...someone beat me to the seats, rear, disc brakes, carb and all engine brackets.....had to be some Pontiac nuts on it Wed morn.

I was going to take pics...but there is basically nothing left of it.

George there is still a good 400 engine short block XH code and surely the TH400 trans is good. Driver fender is solid, good tailights, decent front bumper and grilles, T3 head lights, the boxed TH 400 trans crossmember, decent doors, good glass and some other bits and pieces.

Large items like trans, eng, x-mbr...just don't sell.....I posted 2-3 other GP models
in the local yards and never got any interest in them for GP specific parts on Performance Years...so
unless the stuff interchanges with GM A-body models.....not worth posting.

i buy GPs and kill them, ive had really nice rust free stuff, and i end up throwing it in the dumpster..id rather pay a little more and take the stuff i know i can sell and walk away..i always come out better...NO ONE around here is buying GP doors or fenders or even headers

ive had great luck with bumpers, and dont know why, but i sell all i can get and ship them...

    Does it have power windows??

the 70-72 Monte Carlo was a response to the sales success of the 69 grand prix.
parted a 70 GP in the last five years - wound up selling the entire front clip, passenger door, rear end and the body went to joe vega in phoenix along with the bucket seats and trunk lid.
