Hey Buick People, (and you know who you are)
I have a 68 stepchild which I want to install my comfort grip steering wheel. Like most of you it is impossible to find Buick stuff. Has anyone used the Chevy mounting hub. If that isn't an option, what have you used to make yours work?

I've used the 69 up Chevy up a few times. Same thing. I'd expect the 68 to be the same as well, as ragtops mentions.

Max Damage I'm working on it!

The 69 up hub is bit large on a 68 Buick steering column, but still works. It just looks odd.

To be clear, I'm not recommending the 69-up hub. I'm saying the 69-up hub from a Chevy is the same as a 69-up Buick hub. I would expect the 68-down Chevy hub to be the same as the 68-down Buick hub.

On my 68 I first tried: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/VAT-SWA1001CHR with my Momo steering wheel and it fit BUT the turn signal lever was about…. 1/8” away from rubbing the steering wheel which I wasn’t ok with so I took a gamble and ordered this:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072LP5PZ4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

It works perfectly and brings out the wheel a little bit more- a couple inches just to clear the turn signal lever, yes that means less room for your body but it isn’t that much of a difference and it looks good and the upgraded steering wheel is a game changer for how the car feels. I painted mine black to match.
