68 skylark courtesy light

Hello everyone. I'm looking for a couple of courtesy light lens cover for a 68 skylark GS400. These are the short ones without the Tri-shield.

 

I may be able to help you out. PM the exact inside dimensions of the housings.

5 1/4 X 1 3/8 inside dimensions of his housings.

My last spare set is gone now, so you'll need to post a Parts Wanted ad, maybe someone else had multiple sets from Duane's run and would let a set go.

Remeasured last night and my lenses are 5.15" x 1.25" . Would anybody have this size available? Did purchase a set from Duane but those were just a bit to large. Very nice lenses but to large. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks

Yeah at one time we had molds for both size lenses. Some 68 Oldsmobile Cutlass/442s used the same style lenses/housings. You might want to check into that.

I may still have them but will not be making any more of these parts in either size. After making a very small preliminary batch of each size part it took years and years to sell them off. Finally last year I got rid of the last set to David G. (Thanks David)

It ended up being a complete bust economically, and I will not repeat it. Couldn't even pay off the molds.

PS. I have been cleaning up the basement and remember seeing a single lens laying around. I have no idea which size it is, or if it is good or not. I will check when I get home.

The only lens I have left is the one that would fit the 5 1/4 X 1 3/8 inside dimension housings.

That's exactly what they measure.No cracks and all tabs in place.
