Hi. Me and my family have been holding onto this car for 17 years since it was overhauled and sold to us in the late 80's. Extensive records showing this. The car was originally robins egg blue, white top. The interior is original. This car has been appraised at $28k restored properly and is truly highly sought after. The car has been stored and maintained since it came from california with the drain plugs removed, no virtually no rust. only spot is the back left wheel arch which has a couple minute pin holes. Other than that perfect pans and body panels all round. parts in the truck, Tuned by my Husband who is a performance mechanic, the little 350 hums smoothly down the road and the 2 speed powerglide tranny shifts flawlessly. I'd drive it anywhere on earth. I went over the car pretty good, its not been taken good care of and it has been left to the elements to long. had more rust than ad stated, and would be a good parts car at the right price, not 4K though. To Bad could have been a nice car. Gil`s buying beer :beers2: Glad to help Gary
I looked at the car also, every part needed to be redone. I took a thousand dollars with me to either put a deposit on it or make her a offer. I wouldnt pay a thousand dollars for that car.Glen
Guys, That says a lot, because deep down, Glen can see good in cars most of us wouldn't even consider, and if he wouldn't make an offer on it, it is a parts car at best, and probably not even a good parts car!
