68 or 69 plastic headlight trim

I dont know what this peice is called but it sits behind the grill and helps fill the gap by the headlight bezel. It is plastic on my car. I need one for the drivers side. It is 4 inches or so and curved. ED K

If the 70-2 ones are the same I have NEW GM ones.

 

Just let me know if you have a good one and how much. As far as the newer ones i have no idea if they would be the same or not. I will check the post here tomorrow and see if anybody came up with any. ED

 

I'm pretty darn sure Joe is right, it is 68 only. I have a nice set packed away, but they will go on my car one of these days, doesn't have any currently. In 69 they are part of the grille itself, not a separate piece. Mike, I didn't know 70-72 had them as separate parts? I wonder if I have a pic here... nope, must have deleted it.

I have one but one of the mounting holes is broke off.still mounts solidly with the one remaining though,do you still want it,I can send it to you,you decide and if it'll work for you we'll talk about it.whats your address. gary

that mounting hole will not be a problem. I can add a squeeze plate on top of that and it would be good to go. Shoot me a price ( low ) and we would be in business. Thanks ED

Ed & Gary, I found an extra one that I had forgotten about. It is in good shape, nothing broken, and is black. Looks like Gary's picture. Is that the driver side cup? I haven't seen one on a car, so I'm not sure what the attachment point is. # on the cup is 1384265.

 

David I didnt have one at all on the drivers side so i am hoping that Gary sends me the correct one. I will keep yours in mind if it is not right. Thanks ED

 

Ed, mine is the same as Gary's, except for no breaks. I would guess he knows that it is driver side or passenger side. I can't tell myself, without getting at my grille, or my car to figure it out. Haven't had these on my car since I bought it.
