I need a new top and wanted a glass window but my trim shop recomends against it on a manual top, are the frames the same? can I convert mine to power? any input would help! I have to drop it off next week. Thanks Mark
I would disregard their advice and go glass. Plastic windows just suck, and they were ORIGINALLY glass, so it shouldn't be a problem. I worked my non-fucntioning power top with a glass window manaully for years with no problems. I have always wondered myself if the frames are the same or not. I've never, in 20+ years of playing with Buicks, seen one with a manual top.
