'68 GS Owners, look what I found

I recently came across this and bought it. Its a commercial for the '68 GS and Electra 225 with an air date of Sept 7, 1967... It is supposed to be in color but it does not have any sound o No:

I held the film up to the light and it is a '68 GS

I will convert it to mpeg and post it when I get it done. It is a 16mm film and I have a friend that is going to convert it to DV for me :TU:

Has anyone ever seen a '60's or '70's GS commercial before? I have not....

I am tring to find a host to post the video file on.

Here are a couple of clips from the commercial that show a few things that are different than production GS's

1st - notice the grill is all black and not black in the center and silver on the edge.

 

The tri-shield medallion is missing from the front of the shifter plate.

 

This woman is on one frame (less than one second) at the beginning of the video during the 5,4,3,2,1 countdown......I wonder why? o No:

I wish the color was better, but the film was very old...

The full size version is 12MB...too big to e-mail or post on most free sites.

 

12MB is a bit big to email, but I can host it for you if we can figure out how to get it to me. If you can use FTP I can setup an account for you to upload it to.
