Not mine. Somebody save this car. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-other-auto-...n/1968-buick-gs-california-dpecial/1573110052
Also that isn't a cal special car, as it's a hardtop. all the 68-69 GS cal cars are thin pillar coupes (post cars). Looks like a mess.
Alrighty then I went off the sellers description and since there wasn't any pics of any badging I would never know any different. I will change the thread title. Still a cool 4 spd car though.
Yes it is! Yes it is! Makes the '68 400 4-sp. we were talking about the other night look like a cream puff, lol.
Why do you guys not think this could be a real 68 GS 4 speed? You can clearly see the cowl scoop on the hood. It isn't a California but it could be a GS 350 or GS 400? As much of a junk heap as it is, it is a very cool car.
I'm pretty sure it is a real GS (350) 4-sp. & don't see where anyone has questioned that - Just that it's not a California GS as the as claims. Definitely a very near/rare car but unfortunately that doesn't equate to valuable despite my infatuation w/350 4-sp cars.
Hey Ken I don't think guys are disputing it's a factory 4spd car they're saying it's not a California special. The seller could be confused and the car may have came from California originally? All speculation until someone asks him for the body tag and vin. EDIT: Dano beat me to it lol
You folks south of the border are pretty spoiled when it comes to classic cars. You guys got tons of cars and parts available and they're usually in great shape. Your guys "rough/parts cars" are our "decent fixer uppers" up here .
Daniel you have to register with kijiji inorder to be able to send a message. Also I don't think he's parting it out.
