These two cars were for sale at a local swap meet today. The GS 350 isn't much more than a shell. Asking price was $650 - I have phone numbers, so PM or e-mail me if interested. The '51 Special was asking $1100...I don't have contact info, but if someone is interested, I can dig around and hopefully find it for you. There was also a '72 Riviera - it belongs to a friend of mine. It is relatively low mileage, runs well, but needs some cancer surgery. Finally there was a '77 Regal 2 door with a Landau roof. Interior was pretty nice (driver's seat worn and a hairline crack on the dash), glass was good, and ran relatively well (I saw it leave). Asking price was $750...there was definitely some need for rust repair,at least behind the front wheels. I have a phone number for this car as well.
Hard to tell from the pics, but I assume that the rear deck lid between the rear window and trunk lid was pretty badly rusted on the GS350? Jon
I think it was basically surface rust, but I can't be absolutely certain. On the sheet on the window, the option was selling or looking for parts to complete this car. That would be ambitious - the interior was completely gutted...I couldn't see whether there was an engine or not (a little too short).
