I just found a 1968 Buick skylark 430 and i have the 350 in mine. Can anyone tell me if this is a possible swap? Any and all info is appreciated.

Yes, you can swap between the small and big block engines in a 68 GS/Skylark. BTW, no 68 Skylark or GS came with a 430 from the factory.

That 430 came something like a Wildcat, Electra or a Riviera. If it is a running engine, it may be worth while. If it is not a running engine, I would look for a 455.

Anything is possible with a cutting torch and a welder.

All 68 Buick Skylarks would have come with a either a 350 V8 or a 6 cylinder factory so the 430 is a swap.

After further research I decided against the 430. I did find a 455 and that is my new project ha thanks for all the help and info.

I have several parts here in ST Louis to assist with the 455 swap:beer

Your swap will be the same weather you use the 430 or the 455. You should not have to much trouble.
