Hi-- I have heard from several differnt sources that Skylark (A-body) convertible top frame design changed slightly in 71 and 72 from the prevoius 69-70 design. Does anyone know exactly what that change is? (I want to use a 70 top on my 71) Thanks!
are you sure i have a 68 and the top doesn't fit right on my car the windows don't line up with it and i have to open the doors to put the top up i don't know what year the one i have is but i want to get a new one to try it also does anyone make reproductions?
Your top is correct.....your windows need to be adjusted. Also, take a look down the side of the top when it is up...should be a smooth straight line to the front windshield....if it bows out then someone sat on the top when it was done causing it to bend....this is common and will cause all kinds of alignment problems.
