I haven't seen the car, but he told me a collector looked at it, and told him the price was too low, so I think now he is asking $12k. Here are his two emails to me: The paint is not original and is a different color than original. The interior is original, I still have the car. Maybe a few minor dings. A tiny amount of bubbling around the rear window. It mainly needs some rubber seals replace, oil change, and transmission pan gasket. Other than that, it seems great to me! Thanks for checking. I actually had a Buick Collector out today to look at the car. He said based on what he has seen regardless of the paint.that my initial price is too low. It will be going up and I already have a couple potential buyers from the Buick Club at the higher price ) http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/car/277545787.html 1968 Buick Skylark Custom 2-door Hardtop - $8000 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reply to: sale-277545787@craigslist.org Date: 2007-02-12, 10:29AM PST 1968 Buick Skylark Custom 2-door Hardtop 45, 000 Original Miles 350 V8 w/ 4bbl carburetor 2-speed Power Glide Transmission Second Owner (Was purchased from family member) Car is currently garaged in Shoreline, WA. While it's the original color, it has had some paint work by prior owners. The car was owned by 4 people before me, The original owner, his brother inherited it from him, and then passed it to his neice, who had to have a partner in the venture, thus the 4 owners. I technically am the 5th owner. Under my watch the engine was touched up and I polished the heck out of it.
