There are a few of us left... :beer Check out this thread also... http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=57147 Quite a few convertibles in there...
I have had mine since 1984 and have over 300,000 miles on her she needs re doing but is still a blast to drive with a 70 455 Stage 1, th400 and 3.08 posi rear, air, tilt, cruise, bucket, console , disc brake car, even power antena ( not avalable on convertables ) plus more options. I still have the original 400block for her and ... well its a part of my family and if you read my signature I have a large family Ken as you see in my pictures it has been used as my daughter wedding car and it has been in our local Santa Clause parade 20+ years even my son has driven it in the parade
Although 68 was the highest production year for GSs, it is the least represented among restored cars. In 20+ years of going to the GS Nationals, 68 is always the most under-represented year. 69s are pretty popular--I guess because there were Stage 1s. I had a 68 GS400 convert that I sold to a guy in Dallas in about 1999. Don't know it's whereabouts today. Presently have a 68 Skylark Custom with a 430 in mid-clone.
