1968 Buick Electra 225 Convertible This will be my life long project futzing with this thing making it my own. 430 Edelbrock intake, 750 cfm carb, hei, rebuilt suspension. Dual exhaust in the future along with new wheels and tires, custom dash and steering wheel.
Jim's Riv This is a picture of my late Uncle Jim's 68 Riviera GS. Uncle Jim was an aerospace engineer and the original owner. He looked at the Toronado first, but saw the Riviera and fell in love with the styling. It was his first new car. He used it everyday to go back and forth to work until 1980 when a minor front end collision sidelined it. We repaired it and started re-painting it in the mid 80s. It remained dormant in his garage until his passing in 1999. My cousins gave me the car at that time because they said Uncle Jim would have wanted me to have it. I got it running and cleaned it up. I went through all the mechanicals and its now a solid dependable car. The only item that will be addressed is the cracking laquer paint job. Everything else will remain as Jim had it, correct or not. This is a very special car to me as I was very close with Uncle Jim. This is the car that got me obsessed with Buicks. Alot of memories tied to this one. James Melisaratos 1933-1999 Rest in Peace
Riviera Uncle Jim Had A Beatiful Car-i Hope You Keep It Forever. I Like It For Obvious Reasons. (see Above.)
We just purchased this 69 stage 1 convertible. The pictures aren't the best. They were taken in the garage were we bought it. We will get some better pictures in the spring.
