posted in the bench subforum, realized I should have posted in here .

getting closer to starting a resto on my '67 wildcat 2 dr (been in my family since day 1, in very good shape, just normal wear and tear after 50+ years of use).
I've decided I'm *not* going full stock on this, though will be keeping the motor.
Currently the interior is bench front and rear, vinyl. I'm probably going to be going with the low back buckets (with added headrests) w/ center console/tach, and re-doing the entire interior in leather. A few questions:

    • What trim levels were available w/ buckets and the tach center? was it just an option available on any trim level?
    • Was there more than one type of buckets available?
    • I'm assuming going form bench to buckets/center console is a simple swap, but if anyone has done this, anything tricky about it?
    • where can I source the seats? I found a few center consoles online, but no buckets.
    Thanks!

Replied in your other thread. Buckets were available in black on Wildcat Customs. Only one type, in one color, with Custom trim. I don’t know if the shifter console automatically came with the buckets; I don’t think it did. I think you could have ordered no console or the mini-console and kept the column shifter. The tach in the console was not standard with it; it replaced a ‘wildcat’ scripted blockout plate if ordered.

Thanks.. I found a beat up console on ebay with a working tach ... everything it going to be wrapped in leather anyway, so shouldn't be a problem. Now just need to find the bucket seats.
