Not mine. It's been on here before. The guy's price is pretty good. Good for sheet metal, engine, trans and rear. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars/edmonton/1967-buick-riviera-455/1568374152
...And he's finding out like the rest of us did, that there are likely 30 people in all of Alberta that would even remotely care about Buick parts and he doesn't have the right parts for the ones that do exist here. He's going to end up scrapping it.
I'd take it at that price for the power train alone but it's very cost prohibitive for me since I'm in Ontario.
I know, eh? How many times have I seen something I need in another province but it just isn't feasible to go and get it or have it shipped. It's frustrating; - and while I feel for the poor guy here with that chopped down Rivi, there is nothing I could use off that car and it isn't worth it for me to stockpile junk for cars I don't own. There just isn't enough of a market for Buick bits and pieces here in Canada to make it worthwhile to buy and part out.
I agree 100%. I bought my 74 455 complete carb to pan engine for $400 and it cost me another $200 in shipping fees to have an engine shipped from Gatineau, Quebec to Barrie, Ontario to a depot and I still drove a 2 hr round trip to pick it up from the depot. If the guy was willing to pull the parts and I could get a good flat rate for the engine, trans, rear gears and carrier on a pallet shipped out here I would consider it. But I think even that would still be really pricey.
