Are these headrests on backwards? They look strange. Car is for sale at a local dealer (not mine) https://www.basilcars.com/inventory/used-1967-buick-skylark-000000446677h148505/ Looks like a highly optioned, solid GS.
I don't know about the headrests, they look fine to my untrained eyes, but that car looks damn similar to the one that was for sale on the forum from @Redmanf1.
After doing a little research I guess they are not on backwards, just look different to me. This must be the same car, this dealership seems to be purchasing quite a few cars off the internet and flipping them. They bought a 69 Sportwagon that was advertised on Facebook for 24.5K and listed it for 39.8K and it was gone within a couple of weeks.
Yeah, Mike. I remember that Sportwagon. I've seen a few cars, several Olds, that were up for sale on CL and MP that they ended up buying and adding tens of thousands of dollars to the price. One was a 69 442, not a matching #'s car, it was pretty nice but had a lot of panel replacement done and the owner was asking 34k for it. Basil bought it and they were asking for an absolute asinine 69k for the car. I get the capitalism part, but f me, that's some highway banditry sh!t right there.
Since the holes are in the rear of the seat, there is only one way to mount the headrest in the holes: Click photo to visit a thread about a similar 1967 seat
That is a nice car and I should have kept it. I have the original starter off it and all new SS lines that I purchased for it.
