This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

    Hello Tkgs,
    198-B = black bucket seats
    A-A = Regal Black - top and bottom (no vinyl top) (by the way, of the 15 standard colors available for the '67 Buick A-body, Regal Black was the least common color with only 2.0% painted this color. This figure includes all Buick A-body cars -Special, Special Deluxe, SportWagon, GS400, so the percentage for GS400s paint black might be higher. Not surprising but the most common color was Arctic White with 13.1% )
    E = Tinted glass on all windows
    G = long console
    Z = ST400 3-speed automatic transmission
    the "&" is found only on trim tags from the Flint factory. I've never been about to determine the meaning but it appears on more than 1/2 of the tags I've seen.

    Here is a sheet I put together to help decode the '67 A-body GS body tags.
