I have a 65 skylark and purchased hood scoops from a 67 gs. Is the hood on the 67 gs molded to fit these scoops or can these scoops be bolted directly to the 65 without molding it with fiberglass? :Do No:

    They should just bolt on

You need to drill the holes and should be ok. When its done you should post a pic. I may do it to my 64 hood.
    Thanks

I have and old GS hood

I have my old 67 GS hood sitting out beside my barn I could perhaps do some measuring for you? However I also have my new hood on the car (its a '67 Skylark hood)that has not been drilled yet either (not sure I want to?). Anyway the Skylark hood has notches already cut in to the support frame (underneath the hood) for at least a few of the hood scoop pins where they come thru the hood. I always planned to compare these with the pin holes on my old hood and just drill at the center of them and then match up the other pins from there. Let me know if my old hood can/could help you out? :) Couch
