If you click on the link in the first post you'll see that it was no software mistake. It was a three day sale, plain and simple. It even states that it's $230.00 off the regular price. Mine was at my door less than 24hrs. after I ordered it. Nice!

 

The listing shows 6 were available, and 4 were sold.

 

It's $499, isn't that about $100 off retail price?
