can anyone tell me the correct paint colors for my 67 grill, i have a crack in the center and after i fix it i would have to repaint it. is the back mesh part black or dark gray? and the rest some type of silver.any help would be great. thanks george gs4spd400
I believe the 67 is your run of the mill "argent silver" which is available at most after market parts stores. The darker color is flat black. Harvey

grill paint thanks; harvey and george. im going to use a two part epoxy they use in auto body class im taking now,or really the last couple of years. i fixed it about 5, 6years ago and now it cracked again. hope it holds up this time.i ve only driven the car 725 miles in the last 2.5 years. thanks again, george

grill paint alan; they use this stuff to bond on quarter panels on new cars so it must be strong,they also use it to repair spoilers on these jap cars the kids like to destroy going up drive way aprons. so i know it is used on plastic. ill keep you posted on how it turns out. george

Grill Where did a brand new grill come from? I thought that nobody was making them, was this one found on a shelf somewhere? Wow, that is 1/5 of what my car cost me.

67 grill thats almost have the price i paid for a 67 special this summer and the grill in my car looks new no cracks if fact the whole car looks great no rust perfect interior good original paint i think were getting a little crazy with the price of parts dont youy think? ou:
grill paint they are nice looking grills, i just wish it was metal instead of plastic. lucky the special has the same grill .the numbers of gs"s that where produced that have broken grills buy now are using there grills i"m sure.
