I need some info. I am replacing the original front bench seat with stock 67 buckets. I am also wanting to do the rear seat with matching original covers. I purchased original Legendary covers. My upholstery guy tells me the rear covers are too small. Apparetly the thin post GS California rear seat frame is wider than the GS hardtop. Anyone have insight for me? Please help.........
Not sure how to help? The upgraded GS interior has rear seat arm rests so the seat is more narrow. Find a rear seat and armrests for a 67 GS coupe of have your upholstery guy figure out how o stretch to fit
Special, special deluxe, gs340, and cali gs use the wide back seat same as a chevelle coupe. Skylark and gs400 coupes as metioned above have narrower rear seats due to the arm rest assemblies
That makes sense. Maybe I can get a good upholstery person to add a few inches so that I can have the GS look.
