    wheelz 'B' is for Buick.

I am trying to schmoooze a local guy into changing his now AUTOmATIC 67 GS 400, back to its original state of a 4 speed manual GS 400. He has the consolette and a few misc pieces but needs shifter, linkages, "Z" bar, pedals... (I have a bellH & M21 tranny)

IIRC. . . 66 & 67 are the same, RIGHT? will ANY later manual shift parts, say '68 up, work on this system?

    ANY HELP would be appreciated...

I will also post this on the 'PARTS WANTED' section.

    ThanX!

im goin to be doin a 64 special 455 m22 setup here soon, my thinking is a chevelle pushrod and pedals a 68-72 buick or even the 64-67 chevelle Zbar the 68-72 will need to be cut and made more narrow, that's my hope anyway

I cant comment on all the parts, but I can tell you that the 67 shifter is all by itself as it mounts the the crossmember and body, not the tail shaft housing. The trans mounted one from later cars and the aftermarket will work, it just depends on how original you are wanting to adhere to.
