    Hi guys,
How can I prove my 67 GS 340 California Special is not a clone? The vin number (43307-7-Z-113332) is not a problem understanding and does fit but I havent figured out the Trim code (118) yet. I expect it will tell me black interior with bench seats. Does the Trim code designate whether its a GS Ca. Special or not?
Also, Ive read conflicting information of the color selection for the GS Ca. Special and my car is Gold with black vinyl top (G2).
BTW... I have't found the build sheet but I have found the Soft Trim sheet under the rear seat, but nothing behind the back rest.
    Thanks,
    -Drew

They were all clones! Just kidding, its highly unlikely someone would
clone a car that brings almost no xtra $$$ in any market. I think they were available in any color, but it seems like white was very popular.
The GS 340 was the one only available in white or silver, and that was a coupe- no pillar unlike the GS Ca, all 2d sedans with the pillar.
I have one too, with the V-6 disignation on the Vin and a matching #
340 V-8 under the hood, plain Special interior, but California script on the rear qtrs looks pretty cool.
If you have any pictures, I can post them for you! welcome!
    Ted
