67 & 70 Heater core Chevy vs Buick question

A few of you have worked on several GM non-Buick cars, are the heater cores the same on AC cars on 1967 and 1970 bodies? I'm looking at the Summit cores and they lump them all together. They do appear to be brass/copper which is what I want. Yes, I need to replace both cores :(!

Others far more knowledgeable than I am will hopefully respond with more info. But what I remember in my search for a replacement heater core for my 1970 GS 455 with AC was that it was not used on any other makes/models, with air or without. 70-72 GS 455 may all use the same, I don’t know. But an AC car gets a different core than a non AC car. And yes, all I found were aluminum. SO, I’m having my original checked out/repaired and reusing it. Hope this helps. Mark

Anyone else? Can someone post pictures of the cores in question so I can compare them to the summit cores?

check rockauto.com and check the pictures for a/c & non a/c.
replacement heater cores are all aluminum.

    good idea!
update - according to rockauto - they are all the same. Some years change, but basically in the same year the A bodies used the same cores.

68-72 A-body all the same for ac car and non ac cars. But the heater core is different between ac and non ac. 64-67 abody is the same scenario as 68-72

Going on a little hijack here, but not really... On the rockauto.com website, you can look up the part(s) for your vehicle, get to the specific item number (usually in blue) and click on it, and it will list applicable vehicles. It will come up as a block on the screen with all the vehicles by model and year.
I used this to eliminate a lot of hassles crossing parts in the junkyard. not saying it is perfect, but it eliminates a lot of searching on NON matching cars.
