    Hello all,
Found an online production numbers page noting 2790 '66 Wildcat Custom Conv.s were made and was wondering how many had AC, PAnt., and Tilt wheel options. Is there a place to look this up?

    Thanx in advance!

I doubt it's online but I may have something if you give me your model number.

Personally, I don't think any of those options are really worth telling the neighbors about. AC is certainly rarer on ragtops, but by 1970 or so it seems that it was not uncommon on more prestigious brands like Buick. Now if it had the 425 2x4 or a manual tranny . . .

It should be - please send me a reminder if I forget by the end of the weekend.

Hi . . . the only stats I have are for all Wildcats, so that doesn't really do you any good.

However, tilt steering was installed on 11,291 Wildcats in total. It is statistically incorrect to figure out the percentage of Wildcat Custom ragtops and apply that percentage to the above number, for what it's worth, so don't even try it.

The AC number is much bigger overall.

I can tell you some specific numbers, but the copy I have is poor. Would it be correct to conclude that interior code 451 is red notchback seats? If so, 410 WC convertibles were built like this. However, I see 451 for another model and it's blue, so I'm going to guess it's your bad luck that I don't have that number as it was cut off the copy. If I add up all the numbers I see in front of me and subtract them from 2,790, I arrive at 437. So if you have a blue notchback interior, that's your number I think.

I don't know how to read the top on the manifest sheet, but if it's blue, it's 90 built. Beige is next at 107, then white 1043 and black 1550.
