I am considering buying a 66 skylark here in Visalia. The car has console shift th-350 with shift kit, rebuilt, and a running 69 350-4 motor. The interior is pretty clean, black and grey, needs a headliner and door panels. The drivers rear quarter has a few dents, and some rust on the bottom behind the rear wheelwell. The rest seems ok,although it is primered and kinda hard to tell. What do you guys think a car like this is worth?

:Do No: you forgot to sign off with your name , its always nice to call you by your name. anyways whats he asking for it? sounds like its a west coast car that probally had several or many owners, engine swapped , body work needed. first the car price depends on the buyer! how much do you like it ? are you ready to spend the money and time to finish the car ? a # match original car whould be a lot easier to put a price on ! hope some of this helps !! good luck to you ! bruce:laugh:

Thanks for the reply! My name is Jeff, btw. He is asking $1000 for the car,but I think I could get it for around $750.It seems to be a pretty good deal, although I know it is not the original engine, therefore the #s matching is kinda out.The only thing I am worried about is the bodywork.I guess it could be a cool street machine as is,especially if I could find someone in california with a 455 for the right price!
