Hi, my trim code is 421, blue. I can only find the description "Blue" in my documents, but there are two blue colors, both just named "Blue". If I want to buy a carpet and Headliner; what informations do they need for the right color; just "421"? I just found the color names from GM in the catalogues.. Best Regards Tom
My 65 LeSabre also has code 421, and from what I have seen it is called 'Astro Blue Poly'. Here is a listing of paint colors for 66. Looks like you have 3 different blues to choose from, in 65 there are only 2. And I have to say that 'Blue Mist Poly' is just about what I have been looking for as far as colors go. The Buicks.net site is also a good one for more information. Good luck!
Thank you, I know that link but isnt that only for outside color? For the trim they also have a link, but there are just two "blue" listed without any name.. Ill post some pics from the trim when I have my 10th post..:Comp:
[standing up] Hi, my name is Darren. I'm an idiot. [from the group] "Hi, Darren!" I'm sorry, yes what I said was for exterior color. The interior of mine is probably the same as yours. Difference is, mine has many years of sitting outside, and lots of dust, mold, mildew, etc. I'm in the process of restoring mine, and right now it doesn't have any interior. But I'm 99.9% sure that they are the same color, and yes, the info I have found just lists it as 'blue'. Checkout smsautofabrics.com. I had them send me samples for my car and it looks right. You may want to contact them to see if they have a specific name for the color. While you're there check them out. They say they make just about all of the interior sections for our cars. I would probably order from them, but I'm a couple of years from being ready for the inside work. Sorry again, for the misunderstanding above. :-/
Hi, I requestet some samples from SMS.. I ll start with motor and transmission, after that I follow up with the interior..hope its going to be a "rolling restauration". Best Regards
