Hi, I'm looking for a neutral saftey switch for a 66 GS skylark, floor shift automatic. Also looking for a rear tail light panel (the sheetmetal not the trim parts) Thanks, Greg
it's the same as my 65 skylark GS i believe. i needed one last summer and couldn't find one anywhere. i pulled the one out of a 65 riv parts car i have and it's the same one. so i would think any 65-66 automatic w/ console buick will work. i don't know if other GM's are interchangeable or not. hope this helps you out a-little.
Safety switch Is this the one you need? It is a Standard listed for 64-66 LeSabre's and Skylarks. It is brand new. Keith.
Switch Thanks for the info, that will get me on the right track anyway. I,m not sure if the one pictured is the correct one mine is missing. Does it have a part number? Thanks for the help,Greg
switch The Standard number is NS-5, I don't know what GM number it crosses to. Maybe somebody can tell us. Keith.
the one pictured is for a colum shift car. trust me, this will not work with a long consel. the one you need(and they don't offer anymore) has the leads comming from the side of the switch. the one shown has the leads comming from the middle of the switch and the consel will not drop over with them in this position.
switch Hello. I have one from a regular 66 Skylark with console 2 speed auto. Is this the same. Contact me if you are interested. I also have a pair of backup lenses with gaskets. They are used and in nice shape. mrbuick65@sentex.net. Thanks, John
switch Hi again. I just looked at the switch and like someone said earlier it does not look like that picture. This one says littlefuse inc. maybe aftermarket, however GM did supply stuff like this from suppliers. It definitely is for a 66 Skylark console 2 speed auto. John
switch Got to be the right one. I removed it myself from 66 Skylark 2dr ht wreck in an auto wreckers a long time ago. The car was in a head on collision. Speedo stuck at 85MPH. The damage was so extensive the console was smashed half way back. Probably a death occured . I scavenged the only good part, That switch John.
switch number The number I come up with for GM is 1371068. There should be an 068 stamped on it somewhere unless it was replaced at one time. Keith.
switch There are no numbers on this switch. This is off a Canadian car and certainly was functioning on this car. It could be a replacement. John
Safety switch If anybody needs the switch in the pictures I have it and some other Items on E Bay right now. Ya might want to take a look. Here's the link. Keith. http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZdep3054
