I may have asked this before, but I simply cannot find anyone that can answer my question. Does anyone know a source for the roof rail weatherstrip that goes over the quarter windows on 66-67 Riviera? NOS, etc...I don't care as long as it is in good condition. Thanks for any help.

    Andrew,
The reason you are having trouble finding a source is because that item is not available. I have never seen that part NOS. Not to say there isn't a pair out there somewhere but its not something we ever see.

It is made from a harder more duarable rubber than the rest of the roof rail stripping so typically survives much better especailly in north eastern rust belt cars where the sun isn't as brutal or the air isn't as dry.

As you can guess you are not the first person to ask about this. I would suggest contacting one of the 2-3 major weather stripping companies like Metro, softseal or Steele and express the need for a reproduction.

In the short term your best bet will be to try and find a good used set from a parts car.

Good "used" is the only source for this part as Jason stated - they are common to all 2nd generation Rivs and normally don't require replacement. Your best bet is someone who is parting out a complete car. :TU:
