Is this a bolt-on deal for swapping aluminum Wildcat drums for the cast iron LeSabre drums on the front?

I don't have a mic to measure precisely, but I slipped one onto the spindle. The bearings look to be identical, and there wasn't any play once I tightened the nut.

Can anyone confirm that this will work, before I take it on the road?

Did you check the shop manual?

I don't have a shop manual for this car, yet. Everything else suspension and brake-wise is the same, so far.

I have the complete brake system off a Wildcat parts car, and everything was new. The drums are in perfect shape.

Part #'s for the brake shoes are the same. Bearings are the same. We'll see.
