Hey guys. I would like to keep my dash looking original but would like fm added on to my stock radio. I did try one of the fm convertors in the glove box but too inconvenient. What ideas do you have? Thanks, John
I DID THIS ON MY PONTIAC IT WILL WORK ON AM ONLY ALSO http://taymanelectrical.com/stereo.htm HERES A VIDEO I MADE THEY ARE IMPROVED NOW ON MY 65 I DID THIS MONO USING THE 1 EXISTING SPEAKER NOT FM BUT I JUST USE MY PHONE https://rediscoveradio.com/index.ph...s_id=1&zenid=3cc031e00b72a9ce40f3fe8ba1a3b6e0
A guy I know used this place to do his 64 radio, and is very pleased. http://www.billtheradioguy.com/
I had my stock AM converted to an AM / FM w/ RCA jacks in the back for plugging in an Ipod by S/M Electro Tech http://www.turnswitch.com/index.htm He also has a nice selection of speakers to fit our older cars with odd shapes, like the front dash speaker.
All 3 companies are using the same board made by Aurora FMR-1 AM/FM Stereo Conversion
