It's a love hate thing. I think it's cool as hell. Especially in a different color. Mine is the same as the car. I always like the white color on there. With any other body color too.:TU: You just don't see anything like that around.
First Ebay ad I ever saw that had smilies in it, and I've seen hundreds and hundreds. Plus the chevy engine thing. Had to be a V8 guy....... Good luck.
I'm still not sure if I like the Halo top thing. To tell the truth though, if I had the car I would probably keep it just because it's not something that you see and it is stock. A few bucks put into the interior and some paint and that would be a nice car though. I would probably upgrade the engine based on my very limited 300 experience though. I'll say this for the drive train that's in it though, the run from Usk to Puyallup tells me it's going to make some one a fine driver.
26 watchersou: At least the Mustang is sold & the Blazer has a bid.2 down, skylark to go next...hopefullyp At least i have winter garage space if it doesnt sell:TU:
Hey jerseysky,i had no problem with your advice on my ad:beer There is a method to my madness, when i'm scoping cars on e-gay,i hate long drawn out un-nessasary BS that has nothing to do with the vehicle. If it's in big caption paragraphs i usally hit the back button fast! My theory is "just the facts",read 'em quick, and if you like what you see...read it again:beer BTW,i have seen both of your deleted comments on my/your posting,no big deal,i was trying to help you out,not offend you:TU: Are all you Jersey guys wound that tight?:bglasses:
Wish you luck been thinking of selling mine, I watched a few in the last few months and there have been some nice cars. None of them sold, ou: cheep prices don't seem to be pulling people out this year. Dam economy it in the porcelain pool this year.
Jamie, Looks like both of us have a little work ahead :beer I started working on the 66. I rebuilt the carb the other day and got the door locks and good door panels on the car :beer . I am going to start taking the windshield out this week and have my friend weld a panel in. Then I am going to clean up all the sheet metal in the front and fix the drivers door rust hole. The back is hard like you know. I am going to trust that my friend can pull out most of the dents and maybe we won't have much rust to repair. Who knows maybe I will fix it up like you did this 65. As far as your 65 goes. I would drive it to a nice state park and get a bunch of good pictures. I did that one time with a car and the pictures came out great. The best thing to do is upload the pictures to photobucket and host them through the description using the html. They show up better. I will do that next time I list a car. They charge me $3 for all the pictures I had. Anyway good luck with the car :3gears: Bob jerseysky66
And the guy that won my Blazer just bailed on me:spank: He was going to have it trnsported & found out the price...gezz,just not my year!
That sucks !! At least he told you , market is so soft I sold a 65 Convertible with rebuilt 355 , all the deluxe moldings in great driver condition for $ 9 k  . Might need to start your car low and let people bid . My offer still stands since i need a driver . Going to sale my mild custom 65 convertible which I was building to show too since I have a little one on the way . Best of luck , Mike :TU:
That stinks he bailed on you :af: :af: :af: It might be a bad time now because people are outside doing things instead of being by the computer :Smarty: If you can drive the car on the road. Take it to cruise nights and or car shows with a for sale sign. I have someone interested in my 66. I have it parked in the driveway with a sign :beers2: . He wants me to put the nose on. I told him I will have to charge more for the car. That did not seem to scare him.
