New here , but it's nice to have a Buick in the garage again. The quality of the build and thickness of the sheet metal is much nicer than the Chevys or Dodges I also own. First car was a 65 LeSabre, second was a 52 Special. Would ultimately like to get back to a 65 LeSabre or Wildcat convertible. But for now, this 65 Skylark convertible is in my care. Bought it from Board Member Uncle Pauly. Nice car, very little rust for a convertible, original floors and trunk. Sheet metal seems all original. Amateur repaint, but I don't mind . I posted a want ad for interior parts. I appreciate you guys helping me out on that. Car has a 71 leSabre 350/4 in it with a two speed auto. Goal is to get it back on the road with minimal effort and just enjoy the crusin'. Maybe one day, go for an original drivetrain..... Or.....sell/trade for LeSabre/Wildcat. Oh.... Got it running tonight, been stagnant since 2007 or so. Uncle Pauly stripped all of the original harness and bought a replacement after-market harness. He completed enough of the wiring to get it to crank over. I adjusted and filed the points and changed the coil and it fired up with some starting fluid. Pauly told me the car never had a name. I name all my cars. How about some suggestions? Build third week of December 64, Red with ivory interior, Cobbled together, but solid. Here it is, next to the Dodge. Second pic is from 2004-2007 -Bradley
