I don't believe there is a difference. Who are you getting it from/price?
    I need front and rear

I too believe they are the same.

If you are buying the front bumper make sure that it is not a 64 bumper where the ends go up not down like a 65 should.

Also if it's a front make sure it has the size turn signals that you need. The GranSport ones are larger.

You probably already know this but just want you to double check. :TU:

I was there on Friday and almost got frost bite with the temp and the wind.

    bumpers

Well I got the front one on hold at bumper boys in English town. $400.00!!!...$300 with a core. The turns signals are about 4inchs long i guess i dont know..my car never came with a bumper :D. Also what do you mean by the ends going up??

Also again. Are the rears pretty much the same or do i need to stick with 65 rears. I have the rear but it def. needs to be repaired and plated. I dont know if it worth it though.

See in my avatar how the section of the bumper under the headlights goes down from the center section of the bumper. On a 64 bumper the section under the headlights goes up from the center section.

I don't know if there is a difference between the 64 and 65 rear bumpers.

On a personal note I would NOT buy even a chromed bumper B :af: LT from the Bumper Boys. The chrome flakes off their products within a year or two and they could care less if you are happy with it or not.

Get them done right or pay twice for them. My 02 cents worth.

I agree...I was at the Englishtown Swap Meet today and saw the Bumper Boys...not very willing to help. ALSO, look at the thread regarding all the Negative Feedback from customers. Don't know where the thread is but its on here somewhere.

    agreed

Well i defin. agree those "bumper boyz" are assh*les. I heard stories about them. The only reason anyone deals with them is they'll have what you need. Its kind of a monoply to say the least. I went there with a very very good set of driver bumpers for a 62 impala drop top...i wanted credit for my bumper for the skylark for these bumpers. Granted i didnt pay for the Impala bumpers just my fathers old junk laying around. They said 15-30$!!! What kind of horse sh*t is that???? They are def. rip offs i highly agree. To say the least i needed this front bumper everywhere i went or found wanted 100$-150 for a crappy bumper that would need rechromed. I'm not happy about the price but they'll get theirs one day :)

I bought my bumpers from Bumper Boyz....then had to sandblast and paint and seal the backsides where they did an amatuerish job.

Would never buy anything from them again.

As you already know i bought the bumper..but i see the post for groupe purchase lenses for the turnsignals and they look much bigger then what i see on my bumper. Does ANYONE have a picture of a 65 skylark bumper and a special perhaps?
