I'm looking for some spare(read old) 65 skylark w/300 front springs to cut a coil off of to see how my car would look.Pm me with what you have. Thanks, Philip
Hey Phillip, I think I have a set, I'll have to check. Do ya ever get over torwards Escondido? Gary G.
Hey Gary,If you do that would be great.Umm I rarely go out past Irvine lol.I'd be willing to pay shipping.I'll check with a friend that does more traveling and see if he has anything planned. Thanks, Philip
Philip, I have a set of springs, they are the origional 300 ci 4bbl. front springs from my '65 Convert. but, here's something to consider, I have used these springs for the past 7 years with a 455 ci motor, and many passes down the 1/4 mile, they look OK, pretty sure the height is still stock, put they may have been "softened up" from the big block, and wheels up launches. Please think about this, and get back to me. Gary G.
Hey Gary,I think that they will still work ok for me because I'm mainly just doing a "mock-up" to see what my car will look like lowered, and how much clearance the headers will have.
Philip, how does a "known" bank cashiers check for $35 (total) sound?? PM me for more info., or my home EMail is "badbuik@cox.net". Gary G.
Gary, Do you have the original rear srprings for that convert? I'd be interested in them if you do. Mark
Sorry about that Gary.Well,I don't get paid until the 8th.And I'm tight on money right now,so it would have to wait until the 8th. Thanks, Philip
