    Howdy,

The 65 Riviera I'm buying has the 15in Buick Roadwheels right now but looking on tirerack.com there isn't a terribly good selection of good high performance all season tires that will fit. I've been debating putting on aftermarket wheels and tires to try to get better performance and handling. What are the best tires I can get to fit on the stock wheels that will still have decent snow traction, I'll be living in Ohio soon, but perform well on dry stuff. And to see the alternatives what do people recomend for an aftermarket wheel and tire combo? If you could please include the backspacing and offset so I know I can get them in the right configuration.

    Thanks,

15's are about as universal as they get...what are you having trouble finding? looking for a bigger or smaller profile?

How wide of tires can I put on there, I have 225s on my 70 Riviera and they barely fit between the brake drums and fender skirt mounting tab. I know I won't have this problem with my 65 but still whats the widest thing I can put on them? All the stuff thats narrow enough it seems is really high profile like 70 series, I'm interested in 50 series or maybe a 45. Looking through tirerack.com's rating it seems that the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s are the best combination of traction in all conditions, speed rating and offered in something smaller than 16in.
