    Hi all.

Trying to determine what the original color should be for the inside of the A-pillar in my 65 GS ragtop. The Interior color was originally white, with the 1965-only gray dash and carpet. I have seen photos of some cars with white on this surface and some with the dark gray. I think coupes and convertibles are different. Mine was painted over with black with no indications of white under it, but I am looking to verify with someone who has seen or owns a 65 with original white interior.

    Thanks
    Patrick

My previous '65 was a 'vert, original colors were midnight blue exterior with white top and interior and black carpet. The inside of the A-pillar was white with a white windlace.
My brother now owns the car, so it might be possible to round up some pics.

Do you know if the car was restored before you owned it? In other words, how certain are you that it's supposed to be white?

    thanks

My 64 skylark had white interior

They changed it to black and painted the windlace black and the A pillars. I know this now because I have removed the interoir and will be changing back to white.
