I was in Austin last weekend & went & looked at the console; it's reddish orange in color. It does have the black tach delete insert (has the tri-color tri-shield). Problems are: chrome ribbed top and surround has pitting, including the tach housing; shifter plate is cracked at rear and does not have the glass shift indicator or light housing; no lock on console door; top is chipped in a couple of places at the back of the console. It wasn't what I was looking for but thought someone else might be interested. Steve
