Looks like it could be a good deal.
Wish I could afford to look at it.

65 Buick Skylark GS post coupe with 3 speed manual transmission. 1 of only 405 built. rust free and straight. been in storage for 20 years and needs restoration. original engine was blown up 25 years ago and a replacement engine was rebuilt and installed.
comes with the wheels shown in the first few pics and NOT the new 15" rallies shown in the last couple pictures. paint is much nicer in the pics than in person. car needs restoration. my price is rock solid and no trades please. 503-551-0476

Now what Bob?:Do No: You sold the '67 & now selling this? What are you doing, you change your mind more often than i do:bla: Was it in worse shape than you thought?

  5. A 69 GS i had been trying to buy for a while just came available. in fact the guy came to my house and left a note on my 65. I want the 69 more than the 65. i guess i kinda pulled a jason Cook with this 69. I looked at it and made the guy an offer a couple months ago. he came back with a price i wasnt willing to pay so i left and told him to call me if he changed his mind.. he has come down below my first offer..lol

  6. Jamie,
it's actually a rust free car with a rebuilt engine. i think it's in better shape than the ebay seller represented.

    Bob,

How roadworthy is the '65? Would you chance driving it to Kelowna, BC?

Sold my '66 and it's headed to New Zealand. I aways had the itch for a manual trans car.....

    A 69?? Over a 65???
    Does not compute!
Not anti 1969 GS, but a 65 in hand is worth 20 of another year in the bush!
Sure wish I had the cash. That thing would be in my garage, or more like on the road non stop!

That was the second one George, the first one ended on July 8 at $4,650 and then the above one was the relisting.

I was the $4,600 bidder on the first auction. And then got a second chance offer to buy for my bid. It was then relisted and sold. Its worth the 4500-4600 The car is a good core.

  15. I paid 6299.00 for it and had a knowledgable buick restorer inspect it after i got it home. He felt i got a good deal. the car is extremely solid and was a steal at the 4700 price from the first auction

    I can't imagine the 68 or 69 that I would choose over that 65.
I may be a little bias because I know that the 65 is the best year of these cars though.
