1965 - believe Electra 225 convertible. 401 engine. No A/C. This car is still in local yard, yard will likely be gone in 2-3 years. $800 cash should be enough to haul it out of here. Can help load if desired. Car has hood and doors that have been refinished in gray primer.

That throttle cable is a very hard animal to find

Sure is hard to find since a cable wasn't used at all. In '65 it was a metal rod that actuated the throttle.

Believe manufacturers were "mandated" to switch to cables in the '67-'68 timeframe as broken motor mounts could cause rod type linkages to stick wide open with not so good results in certain instances.

My '68 WildCat has a metal rod. I've known this car since new & it has 28K on the speedo. One of two.

Current pics. Car frankly is a parts car there is some rust out in interior floors, some of the trims and pot metal have pits, and sections of the trunk channel have been harvested. Could it be saved, sure likely worse has been put on a rotisserie and brought back.
