Anyone know if this is a Buick Conv. Frame ? Or how to look it up? On rear frame rail.... March 64. Part # 9773002 it has chevy motor mounts. Welded rear crossmember. It was supposedly out of a 65 Lemans. Maybee it was, and got changed over the years. The Guide I have says the GTO Conv Frame was serial #9783404. This frame Must be from a sister car. I checked a tempest conv. it was also #9783404 I have a project car I want to put it in, but want to know what it is first. It looks like a abody frame, I know some are different.
    Thanks for your help, JK

That is the part number for the frame. You would be able to identify it using a GM parts book.
Unfortunately, my parts book only goes back to 1966. I don't have a listing for 9773002. :Do No:
The #9783404 frame was also used on the 1966 Skylark GS. Part number was changed for 1967.
Rumor has it, Chevelles had a slightly different frame, so it most likely also had a different part number as well.
I did try a Google search, but all I could find were your posts on the Pontiac and Chevelle boards, asking the same question!
I think the answer would be in a GM parts book....
