I had a ad over in parts wanted for some manual pedals for my 65 Skylark but have found a setup from a 66 El Camino and was wandering if they are the same as 65 A Body ones.I believe they are as 64 65 66 may be the same but 67 will be a change year.Let me know if you have the knowledge as I do not want to spend 75.00 on the setup if they will not work for me........Thanks

    Bruce,
I asked around and have been told the chevelle ones are different. I would like to see them side beside.
It is my understanding that in Skylark/GS cars that 64-66 are the same. 67 is all by itself and the 68-72 are the same.

Bruce, here's a pic of some '66 Buick pedals. The GS and v6/v8 Specials used the same ones.
From the '66 Buick parts book:
Brake pedal, Group 4.625, pn 1371797
Clutch pedal, Group 0.830 pn 1363523 fits 64-66 Special, Skylark & GS

P.S. There's an online parts catalog at
    www.gransports.com

I'm not sure on the '66 Chev pedals. But they are repo'd, so pics should be easy to find, or just look on e-bay for chev pedal pics.:TU:

Walt those look just like the original ones in my other 65 so 66 appears to be the same. All should be the same then from 64 TO 66 in all GM A bodys, like Cutlass,Chevelle,GTO.I believe that is what Loren from the Board here came up with from his GM master parts catalog when I was talking to him on the phone awhile ago.He said it shows all the same from 64 to 66 A bodys. The pics I have seen of the 66 Chevelle ones look exactly the same as the pic of Walts but not having them side by side as Mark says is a little more difficult Thanks Walt and Mark for helping.I appreciate it.I will go and look at the site you linked me too also......Bruce

    Bruce,
Keep us posted on what you find out. If it helps I know The Parts Place list Buick 4spd parts including pedals in there online catalog. I have tried to find out if any one has used them and have not had any luck.

Heres a pics of pedals I have. Look almost identical to wkillgs.

Heres a pic of the 66 Camino ones I picked up.Without comparing them side by side the only differance I see right off is the actual pedal wgere the pads go.it appears the 66 Chevelle ones have a horizontal strength stamps and the 65 ones have vertical lines there.Nothing you will ever even know when the pads are on.Much cheaper and easier way to go as Chevelle pedals are a dime a dozen and much easier to find than Buick ones so I can live with the slight differance I think..........Here a pic of the 66 Camino assembly...Thanks
